While goofing off and reading some posts on Planet Drupal I came across a post by Dries Buytaert - Mr Drupal to me.. titled Responsible Maintainers I liked the message and I am glad to see him really thinking about the drupal community and process -- it is just as important as the code..

You need to realize that if you created a Drupal module that thousands of people depend upon, you created a successful Open Source project. Successful Open Source projects need responsible maintainers in order to sustain. As the maintainer of your project you are in charge, and you have to take responsibility. Period.

Even big IBM is talking about drupal... sample IT project

WOW part two is pretty serious thinking about website design ... much as I do.

In this series we're using a fictitious organization, International Business Council (IBC), which connects employees of the company with external business partners in a collaborative community. IBC needs a redesign of their existing Web site and requires document storage, discussion groups, specialized workgroups, conference scheduling, schedule session descriptions, session expiration, and other capabilities.

because we can has a good review of how they are using the drupal e-commerce module.

It is a pretty meaty module -- I set it up on one test site. It seemed to work but it is complicated so it took some thinking - and was undergoing looks of updates .. but I really don't have anything to sell...

A good article on the Advanced Web Design site highlighting different types of websites -- lots of examples - of course using drupal.

They also have a "tip" about using "book pages" to enhance click throughs.

I think I believe them ... maybe I will start using that type of content..
