As decided long ago (and far away) the next version of drupal has reached the "code freeze" point as of Sept 1st - today. No new features should be added until after the release. Biggest news is the installer (it was already pretty easy) and the redesign of the admin pages (I had just figured them out the old way)... but I really do think behind the scenes there are some big technical improvements.

There is lots of cool stuff coming. I have a CVS version installed and it works great already... of course many contributed modules will need upgrading....(like the first one I tried to add..
